Early Life and Career

Prithvi Shaw was born on November 9, 1999, in Thane, Maharashtra. He began playing cricket at a young age and quickly showed natural talent. At just 14 years old, he scored 546 runs in a local Harris Shield match, breaking a record previously held by none other than Sachin Tendulkar.

Prithvi Shaw stats

Shaw continued to impress in his domestic career, making his debut for Mumbai in 2016 at the age of 16. He quickly established himself as a top batsman, scoring two centuries in his first three Ranji Trophy matches. In 2018, he captained the Indian Under-19 cricket team to victory in the World Cup.

International Career

Shaw made his international debut for India cricket national team in October 2018, during a Test match against the West Indies. He scored a century in his debut match, becoming the youngest Indian to do so. However, his international career has been plagued by injuries, and he has struggled to maintain a consistent presence in the Indian team.

Playing Style

Prithvi Shaw stats are known for his aggressive batting style, often compared to that of Virender Sehwag. He is a natural stroke-maker with a wide range of shots and is particularly strong against fast bowling.

Future Prospects

Despite his injury setbacks, Shaw remains one of the most promising young talents in Indian cricket. If he can stay healthy and continue to develop his skills, he has the potential to become a star player for India for years to come.
